Actually, for a non-major release, that's pretty damned good. Famitsu is notoriously harsh when reviewing anything that's not Square Enix, Monster Hunter or first-party Nintendo. (:

Well, Sony hopes this is a major release. The original game on PSone did 400k, and they hope the remake will spawn sequels.
I'd be all for that. Big fan of the Mars/Alfa System games -- this, "Lindacube" and the *exceptional* PS2 game "Abarenbou Princess." The more exposure they get, the better! Definitely hope this does well.

That's actually really good. Tom, better get on this one![]()
looks like im not the only one really excited about the game.
If it was between this and Conception, I'd chose this in a heartbeat. In this you can actually CHOSE your gender and design your character. I'm very, very happy this got such good reviews and hope XSeed takes that into account.
I love cross generation RPG games and was excited about this as soon as I saw it on siliconera. Even if this was only a PSN only release as long as it's localized then you'd make this girl very, very happy.
ps. I found a PSP theme based on this game if anyone was interested in it.
You can choose your gender and make limited design decisions, but it's mostly just color schemes and such. It's not quite as detailed as you're probably thinking.
The game really is pretty awesome, though. I played it briefly on PS1 back in the day, and played the demo of it just recently... and the demo was enough to convince me to shell out lots and lots of money on the Japanese LE, which I am anxiously awaiting! So yeah... it has fans within XSEED, at the very least. Fans who are pushing for it.
Doesn't mean we'll get it, but hey... every little bit helps, right? Keep your fingers crossed that this could be another Corpse Party. (:

Well, I just meant, "game for which my obnoxious pestering of coworkers ultimately succeeded." (:
