Sony would be dense not to release this seemingly Demon's Soulsesqe game here in the West, but they skipped WKC2/ WKC O localization and Demon's Souls back in the day, so you never know.

Well Sony initially commissioned Demon's Souls (joint project with From Software and Sony own the IP rights), so this could be an actual sequel to DS, not a spiritual successor to Dark Souls (all of these games are just spiritual successors to King's Field anyhow). This looks a bit heavier on the action though than the Soul games. New trailer is up on the 10th, so we should know more then. And unless its an FPS or 3rd person action game, there's no guarantee SCEA will release the game here.

This. Namco just announced that they sold 1.19 million copies of Dark Souls in North America/Europe. I'm sure it'll be announced at E3.

We must've be so hasty to post a suggestion of it! Plus it's not something so niche that XSEED can really go for (remember, they try and pick up the stuff no one else will. With a title like this, EVERYONE will want a piece of it!)

this game looks pretty cool and i do see why but i wouldnt say for sure that this is a "Soul" game, it might, but i think people are hyping themselves up too much about this possibly non-existent link and may be disappointed if this doesnt turn out to be the case

Definitely looking out for this one after that new trailer. Sound reminds me of Dead Space and it looks like it plays like Demon's Souls from the small amount that I see. Could be a lot of fun. And yeah, they would be crazy not to release this in the west.
