I'm writing a horror novel series inspired by Higurashi, centering around a group of friends. It's got anime-style art. I'm currently looking for someone to draw rough drafts of the characters, which will be used for reference when it comes time to do the cover art. So, yes, I do kind of need help.
My very first artist for this project has been stringing me along for about five years. It takes her months to make minor changes, and I suspect she actually just puts it off, because she would send me stuff that was messy and full of mistakes. And she'd often not have fixed whatever it was. She barely replies to my emails, even though she now has internet, and I'm sick of it. Five years, and I have NOTHING I can use from her. A few other people tried, but most decided not to continue for reasons like being too busy. Saseko was a dream-come-true, I thought, but then she just suddenly disappeared, and you pretty much saw the rest. On top of that, she started ignoring me. It takes a long time to find an artist with the talent and time and willing. I can write all I want, but I need the artist.
