I saw The Dark Knight Rises and really liked it, especially the end. It was a great way to finish the trilogy.

A lot of people were saying how Rises wasn't as good as TDK, but I honestly preferred it a lot more. TDK is a good movie, but really... I was never in awe of it as many people were. This one just struck a chord better with me.

I'm gonna have to see Rises again before I decide which one I like better. Right now I think I like the overall plot of Dark Knight better, but the ending of Rises was great. I love how it's an open ending but at the same time it's a definite ending to the story; anything else they do would be redundant.

Saw ParaNorman last Friday and it was REALLY good. Like...It's not just a good animated film, but it's a pretty darn good monster movie, as well as a GREAT homage to old horror films and stuff. And, duh, it's beautifully animated in a stop-motion style. It just had a really nice message and was quite funny and really fun to watch. I am pleased. c:

I also liked TDKR, as well as Dark Knight before it, and I really have no preference between the two. I think they were both great films and the only real detriment I saw in Rises was, unfortunately, Bane was just not the Joker. It's not that his performance was bad, or that he was a bad villain, it was just that Ledger's Joker was exceptionally good, and really struck a chord with a lot of people. I think that's where a LOT of complaints come from lol. I felt that Rises was more actiony, too, while TDK was a drama with some action. A character study, if you will. Both are REALLY exceptional superhero movies though~

I've been trying to put my finger on something about Dark Knight Rises that I didn't quite like, and I think this statement nails it perfectly. Now that you said it, I realize that's definitely how I feel about Dark Knight vs. Rises.

I'm not sure what movie I'll go watch next... Most like just Hobbit Pt 1. Although, I do want to watch Wreak it Ralph at some point Don't think I'll go to theatres for it though. Fall is just sort of a dry time for movies (which is why games overflow around this time Endless entertainment!)
