A question about the translation of the series

I saw somewhere, that xseed is going to release the Sora No Kiseki trilogy, but im so anxious, and i want to know if there are the possiblities to do same on Ao No Kiseki,Zero no Kiseki and Nayuta No Kiseki( i know that this game isn't out,but i want to know if someday they have the possibility to do it.

Depending on how second and third chapter goes. They will release them. Right now they are going by the lore order.
I may be blinded and misunderstood by society. But I see things that other people do not see. Knowledge is power but also creates insanity. Respect the decisions made by other people and they will respect yours. I am now called "therpgfan" on other websites now.

Who said that the third chapter will be released? I honestly don't think we will be able to play 3rd, unless FC+SC on Steam will do a LOT of downloads and I don't see this option to be real. So we surely won't see Zero and Ao no Kiseki here, but maybe Nayuta, if truly is unrelated with the other games, has a chance.
That's a shame because I think this saga is one of the most beutiful in JRPG.

Well, XSeed did say they entered the partnership with every intent of seeing it through.

3rd could happen as long as FC and SC do well on Steam. I think it has a reasonable shot.

For anything beyond that, I think the chances of localization are only slightly better than the chances of a huge meteor hitting the Earth tomorrow and causing everything to go extinct (except roaches, because those damn things survive everything). I say slightly because one of those has at least some existent degree of uncertainty and the other does not.

I'm pretty sure. It just seems like there are too many issues involved and it's just not worth the investment. At least that's my outlook on it. I could be wrong, or XSEED might just be crazy enough to do it anyway since there is at least some sort of guaranteed audience.

A lot of is the stuff that's been covered a thousand times by now, script length = long time to translate = time is money and the cost for the translation is likely more expensive than other games they could do and release more quickly and ultimately make more money on, but you also have things like the platform switch. If Falcom miraculously pulls a PSN version of SC out of their sock drawer then maybe that won't be a problem, but otherwise, we're probably looking at SC and 3rd being Steam only, but then going to Zero you're going to have a jump to Vita. That's not a "good" switch, I'd imagine the reception wouldn't be too different than what Sega got with VC2 in the west (that is, a lot of people were pissed the series went from PS3 to PSP, and I'm pretty sure the sales reflect that which is why we didn't get the third game).

Well, if there's any hope, Falcom tweeted recently that they are investigating the possibility of an PSN version of SC.

Seems they're concerned that's it's their only PSP game not on PSN.

That's what I was referring to with the miracle in the sock drawer. I've been pretty sure there wouldn't be a PSN version of SC. Now Falcom is hopefully doing their job and setting the world right by proving me wrong.

And I've brought up the fact it's their only game not on PSN. It's an interesting situation, because people can't really get into the series on Vita or digitally because SC is missing. So there's definitely a question of whether or not it's worth the effort to get a PSN version up. Their comments don't really confirm or deny anything aside from the fact their looking into it, so it will be interesting to see what they decide to do.

Yeah, me too. Though the Falcom president did say that they would do everything to get SC to us since "it's unfair to end with that ending".

Recently, it seems that the whole GKH fiasco is putting everybody in doubt about XSeed's future releases...especially on the Trails series..
