    Moon: Remix RPG Adventure

Now here is a blast from the past. Heralded as the greatest game ever made, Moon: Remix RPG Adventure stands as the pinnacle of the gaming art form. Moon was originally released in 1997 for the original Playstation and even though there were plans for an international release, the game never made it out of Japan. Moon was developed by Love-de-Lic, a company formed by Kenichi Nishi-san of Squaresoft fame, and it embraces everything that is so amazing and fascinating about Japanese video games.
It is easy nowadays to say that X game has state-of-the-art graphics and awesome gameplay, but how can you really say that if you have not experienced a game that was actually made with love and care? How can you say what a video game is if you have not played the ones that really matter?
I believe the time has come to look back and see just how amazing games used to be. With such a prominent focus on digital distribution, it would be a real shame not to expose gamers to this all-time classic.

Love-de-Lic, the company that created Moon, disbanded in 2000, plus Sony has no PS1 QA lines for devs to reach out to anymore. Even if someone were to able to find out who owns the license now (if anyone), the issue with Sony can't really be resolved.

Love-de-Lic SORT of disbanded in 2000. They actually split into three companies at that point -- Vanpool (the guys who made Tingle RPG on the DS), Punchline (the guys who made Chulip and Rule of Rose) and Skip (the guys who made Chibi-Robo, Giftpia and Captain Rainbow). Nishi himself founded Skip, I believe, so chances are Skip currently owns the rights to this game -- though with Skip being largely funded by Nintendo now, I'm not sure what sort of exclusivity contracts might be in play.

The sun has most likely set on this amazing title (which is indeed one of my personal favorite titles on the PS1, and probably one of my top 10 favorite games I've ever played)... but if an opportunity to work on it should ever present itself, I'm pretty sure we'd be all over it. Or I would, at least.

I wish the sun would set on some of the dead brain games out there, but that's not going to happen seeing how most gamers are just a bunch of zombies.

I love me some brains, but I think we will be too full to do anything else afterwards.
