Yep, I just saw that myself as well. I hope it encourages people getting the game, or encourages XSEED to make a sale/price-drop to the ideal price of $15.
The demo is out! Play play play, everyone! (:

Downloading now to check it out.
I may be blinded and misunderstood by society. But I see things that other people do not see. Knowledge is power but also creates insanity. Respect the decisions made by other people and they will respect yours. I am now called "therpgfan" on other websites now.
I'd argue that XSEED should've released the demo the same day the game was released, but that's past now. I don't think a lot of people will download the demo after the game isn't on peoples radar anymore.
You don't think the demo might be able to put the game BACK on people's radars? 'Cause I'm kinda thinking it might...

I downloaded the demo yesterday and haven't had a chance to play it yet, but I think it's a great idea that it was released. I've been on the fence about buying Sumioni ever since it was released. I love the visuals, but from what I've read, I'm not sure the gameplay will be my cup of tea. Now with the demo, I can find out after I get home from work today.
I'm sure it might, at least for some people. I guess they didn't have the chance to release the demo back then, so now it'll help people on the fence about buying it.
Well, I hope so. The game's short, but a few people won't think that's a problem and would enjoy the game.
