Updates on SC?

As much as everyone's doom-and-glooming over GKH, I do doubt that will be entirely necessary. I know the XSEED folks want to see this game happen.

I imagine that if they could, people would tell you the whole story of everything that's happening, but the legal aspects of everything... it's not possible to talk about anything until you have something you are sure you can talk about. Please don't bring your tirade from the other thread in this one. I'm pretty sure that they're not even to the point of getting SC to text insertion yet since it is a significantly larger game than GKH.

No, and Jiggi's correct: Nothing is certain. But rest assured, Grand Knights History is the only game we're cancelling in the foreseeable future. Everything else is going ahead exactly as planned, SC included. Have faith, gamers! We're doing our best not to let you down again.

If you do cancel it, it won't quite be a reason to run around like headless chickens, because some people have shown willingness to commit to a fan translation if worse comes to worst. The PC version would make this easier.

I wouldn't even be that upset about GKH if it wasn't so dependent upon region-locked online functionality, making a fan translation mostly pointless.

SC is one of my most anticipated titles yet. FC was excellent. My prime fear is having to buy the PC version of FC as well, however. (Though I would in a heartbeat.)

@Topic: can't really say much. I hope FC will be released on steam, so that I can check out the series. I'm hooked on Falcom/Xseed games after playing Ys Oath on Steam. A fantastic experience and I'm expecting the same quality from Ys Origin/other Falcom games.
