Updates on SC?

I know that you guys probably get this everyday, but it's been a while since I last saw any type of official update from you about the status on the localization of SC. We are all anxious for more news, specially because of all the issues that you guys are having because of the script size and the double UMD thing...

Well, it's been said that there's no news because there's nothing to report as they are probably still in the middle of translating and editing.

Remember, no news is goods news!

Yep, pretty much what 321 said. The reason there's been no news is because the status of the game's localization hasn't changed. Which is a good thing, really! If it changed, it would either be because it was nearing completion (which won't happen for quite a while) or because it was being cancelled (which hopefully will never happen).

Are you asking how far along we are? If so, I think we've all decided that it's best not to give out that kind of info, as games like this are... tricky. We could be 80% done, but that last 20% could take us just as long as the first 80% depending on the complexity of what's in it and/or the volume of other projects we're working on at the same time. Or conversely, we could be 20% done, and the last 80% will just fly by because it's all super-easy to translate and we have no other projects getting in the way (though that's far less likely!).

Either way, as annoying as it may be, I think we're going to stick with "still in progress," and leave it at that until we've reached a point where we can actually give some sort of timeframe. Sorry!

I watched a Japanese game play of SC and the dialogues are dubbed. O_O I wonder if the English version would be dubbed, too. If that happens, it would be so cool.

The only voiceovers I can recall are the battle voices. I think what you watched might be someone inserting the audio from a drama cd into those parts you watched. (I saw one too)

Yeah. The one I watched is the battle between Estelle (along with another bracer we know) and another bracer we are oh so familiar with. Still, it would be so nice if they would be able to dub even only the battle voices.
