you do realize the next pokemon game was announced for the regular DS right?

DS retail landscape wasn't all that great to niche games when the system was the main focus. Now that it's no longer the main focus it'll be even harder to get games into stores, and unlike PSP games that are generally cheap to print on UMDs, and have an evergreen market on PSN there's no equivalent on Nintendo hardware. If Tom reads this I'm sure he'd have more to say as he'd have experience here. I'm just going off of interviews and forum remarks.

Niche? It has nothing to do with niche, it has everything to do with Nintendo not listening to what people ask to be released in English, Xseed and Atlus are a few of the only remaining companies who listen to game requests while other companies, Nintendo, Sega, Capcom, Square Enix and Konami, the game industry to them now is lets pop out games quickly instead of working on one for a few years to make a really good game

Because of this, there haven't been many games released in the last 10 years that can stand up against some older titles like Lunar Silver Star, Lunar Eternal Blue, Chrono Trigger, Xenogears and Final Fantasy VII

I really wish this game would have been released. Please consider bringing this over XSEED! Any Fire Emblem fan would still purchase this despite that new on on the 3DS, especially since this game can be played on the 3DS.

Very True, unlike the Vita, the 3DS is backwards compatible with DS games
