the battle in nightmare are so hard ! I had to use the cheat option against the final boss and in this difficulty you can't even choose the charcter you want for the last arena fights
I'm actually really proud of having finished 3rd on Nightmare, just because of that final battle. I had to redo the entire final dungeon like... 4 or 5 times to make sure I had the right party.

The amazing level of detail, mature and fleshed-out storyline, and complex (by JRPG standards) battle system. Also, nearly all the filler content is optional--though it's not like I didn't want to go through it.

Hiya floofy! What can you say about the difficulty of SC and the Third?

Ps: Don't mean to sound rude, but about my PM....

By 'filler content', you mean bracer quests?

Well if you do them, you'll get nice rewards to help with the main story and if you get all 368 BP and import to SC, you get more rewards .

Yeah, I happily did most of them, just comparing it to other JRPGs with more sloggy filler content. It's kind of weird that the game has quests, since it came out well before Monster Hunter's success mandated that every Japanese game made after would include item crafting and/or quests. Solatorobo and Skyward Sword were obvious victims of this.

So how exactly is it 'weird' though?

They're certainly an important part of the story and universe, but the decision to include them came without the Monster Hunter impetus that drove CyberConnect2 to arbitrarily shove a quest structure into Solatorobo. They weren't a convention of Japanese games yet.

talking about that floofy what team did you take in the 3rd for the final boss ? I took kevin riese joshua and richard
the normal monsters of the final dungeon where really a pain in nightmare -___-

the normal difficulty of SC was pretty fine out of Loewe who was cheated

I really like the main conflict in this game. I play RPGs and I really got tired of saving the world kind of plot. This served as a kind of refreshment to me.
