I don't know were I readed this but this game is unrelated with the other Kiseki games and it doesn't have the The Legend of Heroes title.

indeed yuki-chan, since it's not related i think it's easier to get localized as a new ip, i really hope xsedd picks it up, i'm a huge fan of falcom games as they still stick to their original vision in making their games, it's refreshing to see this.

That's what Falcom said about this game. But they told the same thing on Zero and Ao no Kiseki, which instead are greatly related to the first trilogy. So I don't think we should believe those words for now.

Eh, this one is very different from the usual Trails games in regards to gameplay. I can see them wanting to distance this from the rest of the franchise in case it doesn't go well.

It's the equivalent of me going into a Blizzard thread and saying "lol" when I find out it's on PC.
Unless sales in the west are good enough for them to justify multiplatform development (Vita/PC or whatever) I don't think Falcom is ever going to go back to PC games unless they somehow manage to get their distributor back.

Given Falcom's using PhyreEngine now I'd expect Vita/PS3 to be more likely than PC, though PhyreEngine does support PC IIRC.

Remember, one game thats in development is using the PhyreEngine. Even though it supports PC, that does not mean Falcom will do a PC release.

It's possible. I guess it depends on where they see money. Whatever "HD platform" they go with, be it PS3 or PC (or hell, even 360 since PhyreEngine supports that), it would most likely be because they think they can get enough sales from the western market for that particular game to make a multiplatform release worthwhile. Because PSP and eventually Vita will likely be perfectly fine in Japan. They have Oath on Steam right now so they have numbers to gauge, and then they have Origin coming up with will be an even better indicator since it's the first English release of the game.

If western PC releases turn out to be successful for them, I don't see why they'd pull a Namco and put games on another platform.

Some quality screens (most sites seems to be using down sampled ones covered in artifacts for some reason):
