Ys I and II Chronicles Premium spine art question-

Up to this point I've only had the regular edition and have been recently hunting for a premium edition to complete the Xseed Ys PSP "trilogy" of premium boxes. Naturally, I want to complete the picture that the spines form with all three games.

I couldn't find many pictures of the complete picture but the few I could find had the known issue that Ys Chronicles doesn't exactly line up with Oath in Felghana. After reading a few threads about this on various sites (so like 2 threads), it seems some people claim that their copies did in fact line up.

I just want to clear this up. Was the entire production run affected by this mistake or do some copies actually line up? From the few I've seen, none seem to line up, but apparently some people said their copies did. Does anyone know? Photos would be nice!

The entire production run should be identical. Some people were able to make it line up perfectly, though, by propping the Ys I & II Chronicles box up a bit -- maybe that's what you're thinking of?

Hmm... Seems like that is the case. I do recall reading that propping it up was brought up. However, some people led me to believe that some copies were unaffected.

It's possible it didn't affect ALL print runs, but it certainly affected every print run I've personally seen.

It's also possible the people you're quoting are referring to the spine art on the PSP cases themselves (that come together to form the Ys logo), rather than the outer boxes.

The other premiums didn't really interest me, but the soundtrack CD for Origins was well worth it.

I think, from what I got from talking with others, that when people were saying that their spine art matched up, they were talking about the spine art for the regular cases, most of the time at least.

...XSEED does hate me though. ;_;
