The forums should just be completely erased. It's not like anything productive happens here anyway.

Productivity isn't the point of a gaming forum. I'd argue, in fact, that it's the exact opposite -- the point of this forum is to socialize with other fans of XSEED's games, and with us directly. This is a place to come when you want to kill time and have a bit of fun doing it.

And posts like that one, Slur, serve only to this forum's detriment. No good can come of disparaging this entire forum and everyone who posts here. If you dislike it here so much, you're always free to leave -- no one is forcing you to post here, and no one ever will. People come here because they want to, and they post only when they feel like it. And that's how it will always be. We're not trying to get huge numbers or become the go-to place for tips and tricks or anything -- we're just trying to have some fun chatting with other like-minded individuals.

And to that end, even during lulls or off months, I'd say this forum is a tremendous success. We have a lot of regulars here, and they're all great people. This is the only forum I still post to regularly, and it's not because I work at XSEED -- it's because I want to post here. I like posting here.

And I'd hope you do too. You certainly post here enough that it seems like you do, despite your many objections! But if you don't... then I really would suggest you leave. If you're not enjoying yourself on this forum, we'd much rather see you spend your time posting somewhere where you DO enjoy yourself.

i agree with tom and conure in what they just said.i love this forum and nisa forums as well, although i must say that i have been posting less because there havent been any hype gaming news to be excited about as of late but that should change when the E3 arrives because i suspect a couple megatonz XD from nintendo & possibly sony as well.

i like the way the atmosphere here at the xseed forums is,the experience tend to be relaxing due to the nature of the people the frequents it and i must say that the most i love is the fact that i can watch youtube vids on here

This place definitely has been slow lately, and I suppose I'm one of the people who can be blamed for that. I just got a new full-time job this past week (which I love so far), so I haven't been on the forums much. Also, I don't have much to talk about when I do come here since I haven't really played any games this week. But another thing that factors into it is that since the forums are slow in general right now, there's not much for me to reply to when I do come on here.

I post here because I respect XSEED, and I have to make myself known here for the sake of the health of the Steam group, which I am painstakingly trying to get people to participate in, much to negative result.

I don't know that that's quite a fair statement. I think it's more a case of there being different types of forums with different intentions, and I believe this particular forum differs in its goals than the ones you're more familiar with.
