Online Fishing Contests

Does anyone know why I get the message on my game "computer" that says "no service" when I catch a fish for the online ranking of the fishing contest? I catch the fish and it says "no service," on the bottom of the screen, instead of a ranking for over half the fish I catch even the "S" class fish. Anyone know why?

It means the fish you caught isn't large enough to be on the online leaderboards. Some of the more common fish require a very high S-ranking to get on the leaderboard because of how many other people also getting S-ranks.

There are other fish from other people that are given a ranking on the leaderboard that are smaller than the one I have caught and not even S class fish. Some of mine are given a ranking whether they are S class or smaller and others get "no service". The leaderboard recognizes that I caught it, because it turns yellow. I really wish I knew why I was not getting a ranking when smaller fish are on the leaderboard???

Then, I don't know what's going on. Have you tried resetting your wi-fi connecton?

That's happened to me before. Sometimes the online service takes awhile to catch up. Check it tomorrow and you will probably have a ranking.

I have checked for over a week and some of my fish are ranked on the leaderboard (even thought they are not S class) and some never show up and "no service" is stated through the whole contest period. I know something is wrong, because other people have smaller fish and they are listed on the leaderboard. I guess I won't get an answer to this mystery, but thanks for the responses.

Maybe your fish are not being uploaded. Have you tried disconnecting your wii from the internet and then re-connecting again?
