I would love a sequel that has a little more story to it. :3 More Harvest Moon-like, like you said Gin, would be nice, I think. :3 Rather than having a bunch of generic characters, have a smaller cast of developed characters... who you could completely ignore if you want to just fish. :3

I agree with Thunderbird, I think adding a story would take away from what this game is supposed to be about, just fishing. But I'm not saying that adding some slight RPG-like elements wouldn't be nice either.
Better online play would be nice. Like maybe some user created one day tournaments. Multi player could be improved as well with maybe a split screen so both players could be catching a fish at the same time. Also, maybe some more creative ways to spend all your points. Some more mini games would be nice too.
Yeah - new bait would be great. Online tournament would be good too - a different aspect to just regular multiplayer.
The thing about fly fishing is that some of the existing fish in the game could be caught that way.
Livebait is an interesting idea too.

What about different weather? Rain, snow, wind and storms? Probably wouldn't fish in a storm though - LOL!
I think different weather would be a really nice addition. Maybe having some fish that can only come out during specific weather conditions?
maybe have a sign with the fish names on it in the aquarium, so you know which fish is in which tank.
I am sceptical about this, but maybe add a fish finder for something to purchase. Either one like real ones or one that costs mega fish points that only finds rare fish like legends.
Yeah. What other things should we be able to buy? Maybe a house to live in and things to put in it (including fish trophies)? We have a boat so we would need a personal dock for it too!Originally Posted by Road5
That's a nice idea. Maybe an upgradable "resort" house that is customizable. They should definitely add some customization options to a future game.
