You care if I join even if I don't have OiF yet? (will probably get it after Origins)

Cool, I'll try to join then. (I will still obviously be a big xseed supporter on there!)
EDIT: I'll do it when I get off work, it'll be less of a hassle.
Yep, you're more than welcome. The primary purpose of the group is for discussion, community, and fun, and like Slur's already stated, we've had some gift exchanges going around already. I also don't have Oath yet, so you won't be alone, haha. We'll be glad to have you!
First thing to happen when I made this group? I got a PM from Tom saying that I was abusing members (which I clearly wasn't).
Second thing to happen? Pringles comes into the chat, begins to harass me under Shizuka's presumptions and report back to Tom.
Third thing which happened? I got a PM saying for me to make it evident on the opening page that I wasn't running an official group or action would be taken against my group.
Fourth thing to happen? I post the group's Steam link on Ancient Land of Ys, which was met to MP83 denouncing the group's validity.
Fifth thing to happen? People whining at me for trying to unite the community, calling my efforts a "waste of time", then proceeding to leave.
All of which was unprovoked.
Gee, I wonder why Slur is so embittered with the staff and users of the XSEED/ALOY forums.

That never happened. I asked you to please note up-front on the mission statement page that it's a fan-run group and not officially affiliated with us... but I never once threatened to take action against you if you failed to do so. I don't have that kind of power! I even specifically said in my PM that I couldn't force you to do this, and that it was just a request. A request which you fulfilled, and which I then thanked you for.Third thing which happened? I got a PM saying for me to make it evident on the opening page that I wasn't running an official group or action would be taken against my group.
Also:
No, you got a PM from me saying that I had received multiple allegations that you were abusing members. I had no evidence to support that beyond hearsay, nor did I have time to do much investigating into the matter, so I figured I'd just outright tell you what I'd heard and ask if it was true. And you informed me that it wasn't.I got a PM from Tom saying that I was abusing members (which I clearly wasn't).
I won't deny, though, that I did believe the rumors... but can you blame me? Given your history on this forum, it seemed highly likely that said rumors were true. Your reputation didn't come out of thin air, after all. Trust is earned, not granted.
As you might recall, however, when I later learned that you were being trolled by someone who was specifically trying to get you in trouble, I sent you a very sincere apology for having jumped to conclusions, and I thought we were on good terms now. You seem to have left that part out of your list here, however, so I guess we're not!
I'm actually a little confused as to why you suddenly updated this topic with all of this information, in fact. It doesn't seem like it could have any positive effect whatsoever -- though I suppose you might just be venting, which would be somewhat understandable.
Regardless, I will freely admit that I've been unfairly harsh toward you in some of our PM interactions, and for that, I am truly sorry. You've been making great efforts to improve yourself here, and they have not gone unnoticed. You still slip up from time to time, but as long as you keep trying to be kind to other users and respect their opinions (no matter how much you may disagree with them!), I believe they will eventually take notice as well, and may even come to welcome you with open arms.
Until that happens, though, you have to understand that you showed up to this forum disrespecting and flaming other users... and that pretty much cemented a reputation for you in just about everyone's mind. If you want people to stop thinking of you as a troublemaker and a troll, you need to prove to them -- continually -- that you've changed your ways.
It won't be easy. But it will be worthwhile.
-Tom
