I was going to but it was getting pretty late as it was.

Speculation could be totally out of the ballpark since I haven't played any of the Way of the Samurai games:

"Wearing a dress you /"

I don't know if there's a dress per se in the game, but dress isn't a term solely for women. Samurai wear the "dress" of the kimono.

"may seek a horse for revenge /"

Other than the typical cavalry, the game apparently has some wooden horse and we all know about the Trojan horse story.

"to duel distant foes."

Besides the dueling that I'm guessing takes place in the games, the "distant" here refers to enemies that are both at a distance and are foreigners.

"If you crawl nightly /"

Night crawling is a concept in the game per the Wiki.

"and blind watching eyes, you may /"

You can practice night crawling with most characters so you have to do that to...

"uncover a prize. "

...lead to romance. Because we all know nothing's a more effective approach to romance than stalking! Er...maybe it makes more sense in the game. :P

The dock refers to how the harbor plays such a prominent role in the game and like SIN mentioned, this was about the time Commodore Perry showed up to open up Japan. The Perry piece clinched it because there aren't any other games out there that have anything to do with Perry.

It just has something to do with deciphering the clues, unfortunately "decipherer" is not a word so I went with something else.

Multiple winners? Congrats I didn't really know enough about the game to fit all the clues in there, just some of them, but like I said I still figured it was the Acquire game (and have speculated that for a while now!).

Hmm. I think I'll just take a spin at the wheel and see what happens.
