Based on what was shown at Andriasang, I really don't blame them. A lot of people in the US would condemn them both verbally and legally for releasing it as-is. The US often takes a heavily puritanical stance on this sort of thing.

I could just play the JP version (which I have) and not really care I'll still buying it because I love NISA. Some of the people are abit childish in that thread tho. There was someone basically implying that people on the forum would want to touch g kids. Honestly that was really uncalled for to say the least its amazing how people try to compare real life to a game.

Seeing as how I saw the reactions to the hunger games movie on twitter I am incline to believe that.

i'm all for freedom of expression or whatever but this time i will side with the puritanicals on this.most of the girls in that game look more shota than loli....its really disgusting.sometimes i wonder what happened to japan that steeped to low with these kiddie fetishes because it used to be different some time ago....

After looking at the vid posted on the thread linked in the OP,I can definitely see why some parts will be cut. I'm pretty sure the ESRB would slap an AO rating ,or that SCEA/SCEE would very likely reject this game on the system with that...scene in. Anyone crying about it must be completely oblivious to how suicidal it would be to do it the way they want...

Wow, this game is completely unappealing to me. I realize it's Compile Heart, but I never thought even they would sink this low. The censorship doesn't surprise me at all; I'm pretty sure people could get arrested for pedophilia for playing this game in the US if they left it as-is.

So far, the only people complaining are those who don't know what is being edited and why, but just like to complain about censorship, those who just think all censorship is bad and uncalled for and assume that people wouldn't call some attention to this, and those who wanted to fap.

Sorry, but I'm here to play a game. Not rub down lolis. ;p And honestly, I trust NISA on this one. A: They had the decency to come right up and say with the announcement that it will be edited, rather than lie and hide it. I appreciate their honesty to their fans, despite the fact that they obviously knew what shitstorm would happen. B: They've released "sketchy" games before. Neptunia had its fair share of fanservice, and the Arland trilogy of Ateliers, plus Ar Tonellico had plenty of innuendo. If they are editing this, it is an anomaly, and they must be exercising sound judgement to determine this crosses the line. I don't like censorship, but they're being honest about it, and if it's the only way to get it to its few fans, I respect NISA's decision, and I understand why they made it. I pity the fact that they have to go through this whole explosion of fan-whine.
