Good stuff here covering a variety of games, including things like Falcom, Steam, and Unchain Blades.
Still reading it myself.

Another good read, but nothing new for those who've been keeping up. Trails might be ported to PC, and may become the platform continued on if successful, still waiting for Ys Celcata to be finished by Falcom, future PSP games will most likely be digital only, Grand Knights History still on hold, and XSEED taking a strong digital focus (sadly).
It was a nice enough interview. I can not say that my hopes for a Trails SC PSP release are now high, or that there will be many physical games coming out. Sigh, oh well.
Either way, thank you for posting. :3
I have to wonder what that Vita game could be. I know it will not be my dream release (The Silver Case somehow being ported to the PSP), but a girl can dream...

Well, it looks like I won't be buying many XSEED titles in the near future. It's sad really, considering I used to buy just about everything XSEED released. There are ways around adopting a primary digital focus, like direct sales (in addition to digital), but it seems like a safer route was taken at the expense of some of their customers. :/MAC: It looks like you're taking a strong digital focus. Would that be an accurate assessment? If so, why is that?
KB: Yes, that would be an accurate assessment. The main reason for this is out of necessity as retailers are stocking not only less titles overall but less units of the ones that they do select to stock. Some of our more niche titles that retailers believe don't appeal to a wide audience have to be digital-only or else we couldn't bring them to market at all, but we will continue to release physical goods for the titles that retailers are willing to support.
With some of these things it's just nice to have further confirmation. Like Ys Celceta. XSEED clearly wants to localize the game, so it seems like a given that it should make it over.
The Trails on PC comment is nice too, since so far everything has been more implied than anything.
Plus, there was that nice little hint for a Vita game.
Yeah, it's good to see XSEED still really wants to do Ys Celcata, as it's the one game that I've really wanted for the Vita ever since I heard of it. Gravity Rush isn't even close to it.
It'll probably be digital too. *trollface*
Seriously, for the Vita game, that is a safe bet.
Oh, and I am going to try to support XSEED, but digital games do not really have any priority for me, so... :/ Mmm.

Yep, me too. Digital games get my "whatever's left" income, and I typically won't pay more than $15 per game either.
I might go as high as 20 (like with Corpse Party), but that is really pushing my patience as a customer.![]()
