    Now there's an interesting kickstarter...

Kind of interesting to do it for an older game that frankly wouldn't be touched by anyone else.

Edit: Kickstarter page is at http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...the-psp-system

I was a big JRPG fan back when they were a mainstay on consoles, but since their migration to handhelds this generation I have frankly lost interest in most of them. Squinting at a tiny screen has never been fun to me... I want real JRPGs like Xenoblade and Last Story.

Wait, are they saying that they'll release a physical print of a PSP game if it manages to hit the mark?

I agree with you on that, which is part of the reason why I like the PSP so much. I think all portables need to have high def output options!

I got a JRPG fan boner. I guess that if there's anybody on the game industry that deals with JRPGs and would have the balls to do that would be Victor Ireland.

I'd say it'd make Atlus look bad, but they are indeed localizing and making a physical print for two upcoming PSP games...

I wouldn't think the average JRPG could even get half that, but with Vic Ireland behind it and this being the first Kickstarter of it's kind, it might make it.

If the price is right, people will do it. I don't know how the shipping works for promised goods from Kickstarter, but I'm one that never donated through that particular website but would do it for that specific cause.
