    Heck! With the popularity Falcom has been seeing lately, maybe they'll redo those games themselves sometime down the line. One can dream, yes?

    Edit: Lol, those screenshots are..cute. Which game was game 5? I'm just laughing that there is a guy with a name similar to that McBain guy from The Simpsons.

    (In-game joke possibilities Tom!)
    Yeah, the old gentleman is McBain. The McBain in The Simpsons is a parody of off John McLane from the Die Hard series. McBain in Song of the Ocean is nothing like Bruce Willis.

    It's more than just the graphics. The games are so old that compatibility with newer operating systems would be suspect. Trying to update ancient code to deal with that isn't something I'd imagine Falcom would be terribly interested in, nor XSEED's programmer.

    I don't know what you're talking about, McBain's just as much of a badass as John McClane and with humor to boot (if not quite as salty). :P (I know what you mean, but he's so awesome)

    The games have Vista versions from Falcom, which would presumably be the same as a Win7 version apart from official branding.

    Ryos: If what Chaosblade said is true, wouldn't that make it a nonissue? Or, would a Vista version not run on XP, which I assume is what a good majority of people still use?

    Depends. Are the games properly playable in 64-bit Vista 64? I can't imagine XP compatibility would be a problem, but I'm thinking more along the lines of Windows 7 users.

    Don't see anything about that one way or the other. Unless it's a 16-bit program I doubt there would be issues though.

    And while I agree the graphics are fine, look at Steam's catalogue of games... There aren't a whole lot on there look like that! Heck, I've seen some Steam users say that if a game isn't 3D, they won't buy it.

    But... how can someone think like that? When the hell did they even start gaming? ;_;

    Really? Wow, they must have skipped out on a LOT of classic games then.

    I've never seen that sentiment, but I know some people that don't like to buy older games due to worry that they just won't fun to play by modern standards ("won't hold up").
