I'm playing tear of vermillion but it is hard to play, I can put up with the somewhat boring translation, but the battles are VERY simple and there just doesn't feel like there is much to do.

Oh, I'm a great fan of Gagharv trilogy, and I own not only the games, but also the books and everything I can find related to it, including the awesome Chris figure (ok, I just love her). Unfortunately the namco-bandai translation is awful, and you have to put an extreme effort to extract some nuances of its dialogue (and some is lost). However, even so, White Witch is one of the most endearing stories ever put on a game. If I knew more than t0 words in Japanese (and more to do a better job than bandai), I swear I would translate the script myself.
2D Games are so much fun, I'd hate to see them disappear, I mean even Harvest Moon will be 3d now![]()

Okay so I am still debating on whether to get these games but I recently read somewhere that it is speculated that Trails and Gagharv Trilogy are set in the same world? How is this possible? I am extremely interested in this now. Maybe all the Eiyuu Densetsu games are linked? Now that would be cool if LoH I &II were also connected as well but that may be pushing it since they were released long ago, but then again Falcom has done pretty good at keeping all the Ys games linked so far without retconning anything (I think?). So anyways, thoughts on this subject?
I should probably change the topic title for spoilers shouldn't I?
At least from my perspective I played and finished the Gagharv trilogy and I do not think they are related in the same world as Trails. If there is a link it has yet to be explored or at least not by our side yet. Thats my opinion but it could be truth or not.
Hope will never die because in our times of despair, hope is the warmth that we all have that we can share. No matter how much life seems to hurt, stand up and never give up. Fight it and come back VICTORIOUS!!!

I think you've got that backwards -- later Kiseki games contain the same series of novels you find during the Gagharv games, and there are also portraits on the wall in one location that are Gagharv references.
Some have theorized that this means the two worlds are connected, but it's also possible it's just an easter egg for long-time series fans -- like Capcom inserting Chun-Li in Breath of Fire.

Well, there's the Doll Knight series in Gagharv (Song of the Ocean) that appears in the Kiseki games.
There's also a group mentioned in Kiseki that is also mentioned in Gagharv. Edit: I edited/deleted the group's name as it is too much of spoiler.
There's also a portrait of the Gagharv (the rift that the series is named after) on a wall in Kiseki the 3rd.
It's been speculated that because of these, they may be in the same world or may be Easter Eggs, as the last poster said.

Okay so obviously The Shadow Court posted some spoilers so could a mod add spoilers to my topic title since I have no idea how to? Or if somebody were to direct me that would be great.
