    wkc2

well,i just played like 6 hrs of this wretched game(mostly grinding tho)and i'm really disappointed at the garbage that level-5 put on this game.the graphics were a tad nicer but the grinding and controls were freaking tedious plus it felt like they added alot of stuff to do just for the sake of it and as for the story i really cant say anything since i pulled the plug after the 6 hr of playtime...too many menus, too much grinding without seen real growth and the changing in to the incorruptus felt tacked on as well...

i just hope that nino kuni is better than this garbage.also, the online pass thingy didnt help matters either.all in all, i'm so disappointed in level-5 to what it promised to be a great game wayyy back in 2006-2007

LEVEL-5 is an awesome company, but sometimes they will really botch up a title. In all fairness, the PS3 is a pretty complicated machine and LEVEL-5 had a hard time making sense of it all. Also, realistic graphics aren't really their thing. For now, I think they should stick with the handheld devices. I can't wait for Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle to be released.

This is one of my favorite PS3 games because of the gameplay. Reminds me a ton of FFXI. The core focus on this game is really the online play, the story portion of the game is what felt tacked on to me, and I didn't really care much for it. The story is also garbage, the rest of the game was great for me. As for the Incorruptus part being tacked on, that's rather unfair since you don't really see the Incorruptus customization system till way later on in the story mode when your own avatar character gets one, but I can see where you're coming from since you literally get the opportunity to obtain it like...in the last 3 hours or so of the game (just like a multitude of other sidequests they give you in that last bit). I did like the Incorruptus idea they gave out for a story. Too bad the story they gave out for it was just...bad. The ending disappointed me the most, it didn't seem like a proper ending at all.

yeah i was expecting something better since i kinda enjoyed the first game.oh i forgot to tell that the long save times bothered me also.anyways, like i was saying thanks to level-5 i played cool games like rogue galaxy and others...so yeah i feel really nervous about nino kuni cuz the game looks very pretty but it bombed in japan when it debuted so...

I didn't really like the series in anyways well because. They make you create an avatar for online play but in the story he's like a damn advertised NPC. Come on I'm sure he could have done more than mostly stand there during the cutscenes. Made me think what the hell my avatar was with them for anyways? The story is really bad and very cliche for my taste. At the end nothing very interesting to say about the game and it only disappointed me. Though I have to say the graphics were nice.

Yeah that's yet another aspect of the story I didn't really like, the whole "the avatar participates in the story but not really" thing. I loved the idea to begin with, the whole "your avatar is part of the story but not the main character kind of thing" but I was pretty disappointed once I found out he/she isn't really doing anything there and had no real impact on the plot other than being able to control an incorruptus that wasn't one of the 5 special ones. And that random "I am an important character" close up right at the last boss which was also incredibly anti-climatic. Oh well, I praise this game for its gameplay anyway.

I'm kind of dumbfounded that you enjoyed the first one more than this one since this basically has the same exact gameplay only vastly improved in terms of speed (the circle took forever to fill up in the first one), unless you're talking more about it sucking in terms of story, in which I can agree, WKC2 felt like a ton of filler to give a reason for Yulie to get the Moon Maiden and the three insignia idea also feels not only cliche but just...badly written and don't even get me started on Kara. At least there is one decent surprise in who killed the king of Balandor. I also hate the fact that Leonard is missing for like, almost that whole second half of the game (and is not even available for the final boss). At least the first one (while still being kinda badly written) had...I dunno...more interesting events I suppose.

Well the sequel that is only available to Europeans and Japanese initiates the protagonists story but that coming here is well very slim and with other games making the series rather disappointing there would be no real hype for it unless Sony did some commercials or something.

Plus its on PSP another downer to many.

So there is a reason for him/her to actually participate in the story or for him having an incorruptus?
