That image doesn't look like it fits in with the rest of them at all. The achievements name doesn't fit with the description text either.

"Escorted Elena to safety on every difficulty level."

What in the world does being forever alone have to do with aiding somebody, nevermind on multiple difficulty levels? Naming it something like "Expert Bodyguard" would make way more sense.

Forget widescreeen, the first update to Oath needs to change the icon and achievement title! :|

I think it's black humour, ironically suggesting that being that clingy to Elena is compensating for something. Personally, I found it mildly amusing, but I agree with you that a shiny drawing of something Ys related and "Expert Bodyguard", "Youthful Yojimbo" or somesuch, would be the conservative way to play it to avoid accidentally offending people.

Out of sheer curiosity, is the issue that the meme is overused, just plain unrelated, ect.? I thought it was sort of cute if it affected only one achievement, but if the fuss is sort of unanimous, I'd legitimately like to know. o: Is it just because it doesn't fit the scene? I want to see the other side's POV, so please don't take this as some sort of attack. ^^;; I like to learn and debate, lol.
