    Good points all around, people.
I'm just reaching that point near the end of Trails where I'm like 'Grr... I need to know what happens next.'
As long as Xseed says they're still working on 2 and 3, I'll be happy and try my damnedest to stay patient (keyword: try).

The only way I can cope with the wait is by constantly browsing these boards and GFAQs boards. I just like talking about these games in general really.

Some of the old chapter threads when everyone was first playing the game shortly after it came out are quite good with summaries, plot discussions and occasional posts from the translators and editors (well Jess has a comment in the below thread at least). I was reading most chapter discussions after I got there in game. Did you catch the Monty Python shout out?

As much as I like just reading about the game, I would prefer having active conversations about it. I dont know, I'm cheesy like that. Its like when I meet somebody who meets Kingdom Hearts and for like 3 hours straight we just have nerdgasms talking about anything and everything in the series.

As do I minus the final mixes. I am so excited for KH 3Ds, but hopefully after that we get KH3. As much as I love the games, they kinda need to end now at this point honestly.

They already stated long ago there were two games coming out before KH3 does. One of them is KH3D and the other is speculated to be Birth by Sleep volume 2 rumored to be on the Vita.

Oh yeah I forgot about BBS Vol. 2. Well once that gets announced and released and we finally get KH3, I think I am going to call it quits for the series. They have been dragging it on too long honestly and as much as I love the games, they are getting quite tedious in ways to me.

I know from reading this thread that a Kickstarter project would not make a translation go any faster, but is there any chance that it can be a way to have a physical release of otherwise download-only games?

For example, if certain funding goals are met by Xseed customer pledges, would it be possible to have SC on 2 UMDs for the PSP instead of possibly as a Steam PC game, hypothetically? Just curious if that's an idea that Xseed has toyed around with at all.

I believe I mentioned this once or twice before, but the big problem with Kickstarter when dealing with someone else's game (in this case, Falcom's) is that you run the risk of damaging your relationship with that company. For instance, if we were to do as you're suggesting, we'd have to tell Falcom, "Hey, we're planning to release SC as a digital-only title... but! We're holding a fundraiser right now, and if we get enough money, we'll do physical too!" That's not really good business practice here, much less in the far more conservative business world of Japan. It's not outside the realm of possibility, but it is most likely the reason you haven't seen more companies try something like this.
