Atelier Meruru Limited Edition Details Announced

The limited edition for Atelier Meruru will include the game, a soft cover art book, a black “Barrel” t-shirt (L-size), and the game’s soundtrack. It’ll all come packaged inside a special limited edition collectors box, and is up for pre-order now, exclusively via NIS America’s online store. It costs $65.

Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland will be released on May 22nd for the PlayStation 3. This is the third and final game in the “Arland” trilogy, and focuses on Meruru, Totori’s apprentice.

I preordered this so hard. The T-shirt made me lol big time, the whole Barrel thing has become a running gag and I love it.

Wow, for only five dollars more, that is a great deal. X3 I did not have anything planned to buy in May, hmm... though, I have not played the first two games. :/ But damn am I a sucker for great LEs...

It's pretty silly, you'd have to really play the games to appreciate it. For example, in just about every Atelier game the characters yell out "Barrel!" when they check a barrel.

Pre-Ordered the game at the speed of MACH 1.5 ! To make the wait endurable, I ordered Disgaea 3 for Vita as well. Gotta love NISA for their fast and efficient shipping !

There is no free shipping for Canada, I hate them -_- I won't be getting on their website, therefore I won't get the T-shirt. I'm disappointed. It doesn't cost more to send to Canada, that's the worst!

You likely won't be able to get the Limited Edition at all then sadly, because it's a NISA store exclusive like Neptunia Mk2 was.

It actually does cost more for someone in the US to ship to Canada since there's the whole customs ordeal they have to go through, so I don't mind paying $11 for shipping personally. Plus I get the satisfaction of knowing more of my money is going into their hands and not into EB games' so that they can affort to publish more and riskier titles.

Meruru costs for me about 86 $ (23 $ shipping) which is about 63 €. Total ok with this, considering that the normal version would cost about 40 € here.

I want it.......but I'll be leaving before it comes out.....Crap! I hate that Nisa has been making their limited editions thru their online store only. At least with Gamestop, after you preorder, you can continue paying it off in little bits and pieces until it releases. That makes it a lot easier to afford than paying it all at once.
