Maybe, but to me it just sounds like its something extra to thank people for subscribing...lord knows I'm not that interested in Game Informer anymore. They never really cover much of the stuff I'm into. Nintendo Power has been doing a much better job of that though. Haha, they even had a screenshot of New Love Plus in one article months back.

I had a subscription to Nintendo power years ago (like, during the N64 and super-early Gamecube days), but I remember it going downhill and stopped subscribing. I've heard it's gotten much better recently, though.

Well, its an independent magazine now, so while they still only review and cover Nintendo stuff, they're not quite as biased and beholden to Nintendo as they were before either. They've been covering a lot of 3DS stuff I'm interested in like Spirit Camera, Rhythm Thief, Abyss, Resident Evil, and Kid Icarus.

Uhg, well, it seems that the non subscriber issues of Nintendo Power with the cards do not officially come out until April 3, so, I am going to have to wait. I was unable to stop by any Gamestops, but I will tomorrow while I am out. I was mostly just too busy today with somne crappy college prep stuff that was not going as smooth as it should, which is also why I have not replied to your messages yet Bleu, sorry about that. X3

By independent, I mean they used to be owned by Nintendo, so they might have been forced to give good reviews for 1st party games, even if they weren't all that good. But now they aren't owned by Nintendo anymore, they can be more critical. Generally, Nintendo made stuff still does pretty well, cause, well, Nintendo is good at making games, but now they'll talk about any negatives along with the positives.

I think it's finally time I pick up Nintendo Power! I always browse through them in stores and for years been contemplating on subscribing... I swear the magazine is great, since it covers EVERYTHING Nintendo and doesn't just skip over the niche stuff. Either way, this one mag for now will have freebies in it, so all the more to buy it
