I'm tyring to be optimistic about it^^ I know it varies from store to store. Some stores I heard got over 20 preorders, others got maybe 2. I'm just putting into account (and hoping) people who didn't preorder in the low preorder stores, were walk-ins. I'm hoping through word of mouth that more will continue to sell over time too...

I got it, I already have it though. I was thinking maybe I should keep this one in the plastic, but I couldn't resist! I'm sure I'll regret it!

One of my friends already has the game and has gotten more excited about it than I've ever seen him about an RPG. Meanwhile, my copy hasn't even shipped yet. =(

Pfft, out in my godforsaken neck of the woods, it'll be lucky to get 2 sales per store.

For good reason. I've already put 17 hours into the game so far and have stayed up late 2 nights in a row. There are a few things I don't care for (like Nintendo's incredibly lazily kept British English), but for the most part, this isn't a great Wii RPG, it's a great RPG period. Actually, the way it plays out the game should sell better here than it did in Japan because it plays out a lot more like a WRPG than a JRPG but eh...we'll never find out if it does.

I see this as a giant lose-lose situation.

I would have lost if it didn't sell well because it could very well be a genuinely good game for a system noted for shovelware.

On the other hand, I lose because Operation Rainfall succeeded, and my opinions of them are not high at all.

True, I understand it is a great title, and it shouldn't have needed this much effort for it to be brought over. If it wasn't for NoA's stubborness, It'd be nice if OR was directed at more niche titles.

I noticed estarland is selling this game, so I guess it wasn't so "exclusive" after all... Maybe Gamestop was like "big retailers? no only us. small fry no ones heard of? sure why not." In any case that means there may be more copies out in the wild than we may had thought. Which is good I'd imagine!
