Since there have been many good foreign players who have already made progress into the game, they really do no want to cut off the connections of everyone playing outside of Japan. HOWEVER, if malicious acts from overseas players continue, they will be forced to take drastic measures. In addition, they are no longer accepting foreign card payments anymore also as a countermeasure against malicious players.

So I guess you shouldn't get too attached to your characters on the JP server at this point...

Thats why I stopped playing around the time I found out about the english version.

THOUGH, I am still very skeptical about the whole thing. If the NA servers don't have all the content the JP servers have right now or if they don't catch up quick or at least keep up at a reasonable pace behind the JP servers then I might just quit it eventually.

I plan on staying on the JP side and probably making an alt on NA/EU. Not a big deal to play on both sides since it's F2P, and the blocked credit card thing doesn't bug me because anything I really want from AC is in player shops anyway.

I don't think you'll have much of a choice if they decide to put an IP block in place. :v

What about Mags.

1 mag is fine if you don't switch classes often and/or don't screw up growing your free one.Even if you do,you can just dump paypal money into webmoney and then give that money to Sega.A more round-about and expensive way to do it,but...welp...
