I'm really glad that Xseed could bring a Vita game over so soon after the system launched. At 19.99 I think it has a chance to pick up sales from people who may not be the typical Xseed customer. The small Vita library will also hopefully work in its favor.

The price is still a bit salty for me to jump on the first opportunity.

I think the fact that the game launched for over 5000 yen in Japan makes this version a steal. I'm just happy to get to play it. It is now the cheapest full Vita game on the PSN store.

Is it in the store yet? Just took a look and did a search and nothing came up.

Wow.... I totally forgot this was PSN only. I was in Gamestop for a while searching but then I asked myself "Wait..." I left and just said I'd ask around here.

I bought the game and it's not set up the best of first impressions. I booted up "New game" and am greeted with a 2+ minute scrolling wall of text that I can't control. I'm not a Japanese speaker so there were times I had to reread names to make sure I could follow what the scroll was saying, but unfortunately by doing so I missed parts of the text due to it scrolling.

I'm afraid that maybe XSEED took the deal before having solid impressions from the japanese launch and now they're trying to cut their losses by making it DD-only for $20.

I got the first ending (bad ending) in about 30 minutes, but have spent the next hour or so trying to get to the next set of levels. GAH. I'm not sure what matters more for a final score; either time, or points. What's worse is when you believe you did well and only get 2 stars. : /

As for my complaint about the text scroll you'll see it a lot since it'll replay every time you try to replay the levels.

EDIT: I have started sucking less and have actually begun the secondary level paths. Yeeesssss. Also, the art on Vita's screen really pops. The pictures used for the cutscenes/wall o' text are really nice.

I picked the game up and I'm having fun with it. The art-style is nice and I like the concepts. The controls can get a little clunky though since you have to let go of the Vita with one hand to draw on the screen. It's a very short game unless you want to go for all the endings and I doubt any of the six(?) paths take more than 30 minutes... assuming you're good. I hear some of the later bosses are very challenging though so it may take a while after all. The presentation leaves a lot to be desired though and the scrolling text story feels a bit budget even if the art is nice. I feel happy with my purchase so far after getting 2/6 endings (I have the easiest ones) but it isn't a big game with high production values. I don't know if I'd recommend it yet but I am enjoying it.
