    You are correct - crankbait sinks! That's why I find it difficult because it does the opposite of what the others do.
    I have had a few times when I have caught a fish that was not near the bait - perhaps I just couldn't see it. Anyway, I call them the 'bait and switch' - LOL!

    For float, the fish randomly stares at your line and starts some what bobbing up and down and goes diagonal, then you feel the vibe.
