No idea, but the first time I had even just a little bit my throat closed up and I broke out in hives.

Six inch BLT from Subway, a bad of Baked Potato Chips, and some iced tea. :3

Also, eesh, that sounds bad... Allergies are a scary thing.

Yea, especially when you have no idea you're allergic to it until the reaction is kicking in. I was in a state of panic when it happened because I didn't understand what was going on, and that really didn't help the breathing situation lol

It's okay though, I'm just glad it's something like this because there are alternatives ("table syrup" doesn't contain maple at all for example), and it's something that can be pretty easily avoided. A friend of mine is allergic to eggs, now that is scary, eggs are sometimes in things you'd never even think of.

Your subway meal sounds deli-sh. (haha, see what I did there?!)

I suppose Maple is a better thing to be allergic to compared to eggs, or things like that, yeah. My mom had an egg allergy for a while (might still have it, but it seems to have calmed down if nothing else), so I learned about how eggs are in so much. For those of us living in The United States (I am not sure if it also goes for Canada; I assume not, because Canada does not seem to suck as much as the US), I think the worst allergy would be corn, because we pump that into LITERALLY everything. Though, I know nothing of how allergies work, so I suppose that I can not say I know how bad it would be.

Oh, how adorable; I see what you did there hun. X3 A lovely, inoffensive pun. Oh, and it was. :3 There are better Sub restaurants out there (specially in Riverside, if anyone lives in SoCal), but Subway has come a long way from how bleh they used to be.

Yikes, I never though about corn, yea that would be terrible. I'm a taco fanatic so not being able to eat hard taco shells would be soul crushing. I wonder if there are no-corn tortilla alternatives... :s

Haha yea, subway really has come a long way. I remember when subway used to cut their buns in a V shape and everything would just fall out when you tried to take a bite. Though some of it is still pretty bleh, like those "oven roasted chicken breast" patty-things, or whatever they are (they've seriously gotta be the origin of the term whatchama-chicken).

There HAS to be an alternative out there for corn tortillas, somewhere... flour tortillas are a bit to different (though I prefer them).

What do you feel is wrong with their chicken? I do not think that it is bad, personally, but it is fairly bland, and you can tell that they are using cheaper quality meat by how much grissle/hard parts you can come across.

Oh, and I would say that their meatball subs are rather underwhelming, especially when there is a not to far away place with THE BEST Meatball Subs in So-Cal. :3 Probably.

Oh, and I had about... three figs. Yay. :3

I don't mind the loose chicken pieces like in the sweet onion chicken teriyaki sub, it's just the pressed "chicken breast" sub that turns my stomach. The quality of the meat is just bleh.

I'm totally jealous of the great meatball sub place near you though, I love meatball subs. Especially with lots of sauce and shredded cheese... mmmmm... damnit now I'm hungry! :3

Figs are pretty yummy, especially dried. I like dried apricots too!

Even the the quality of the pieces (which I have come to get instead of the patty thing, because you can get them without the teriyaki stuff on them) leaves something to be desired, now and then. But, again, this has improved over the years. I did get some grissle the last time I got some chicken from them though. <_< I have no idea why, but that annoys me a lot.

Well, this is important; what type of cheese? :3

I have never had dried apricots, but I intend to try them too. :3 I just noticed that the local grocery store has a lot of dried fruits for really cheap prices, so I intend to take advantage. Proper nutrition... feelsgoodgirl.jpeg. X3

Hmm, well I'm not overly picky when it comes to cheese, but I like a little spice so if I got to choose I'd likely say something like a spicy pepper jack cheese. Though mozzarella would be good too!

A little trick, if you soak dried apricots in some wine and lightly saute them, they go great with roasted chicken or pork.
