Now that I see this thread, I feel compelled to say it is a sequel. Takes place two years after Black and White and we have new trainer protagonists as well as rival. Some new gym leaders as well one for poison types (the chick with the guitar) and one for water types (the shirtless guy), and I think Cheren is also gonna be one of the new gym leaders.

We start in a new town called Hiougi City. There's also various new areas in Unova while others have been updated, so it won't be exactly the same as before.

Part of Unova has been frozen as well, probably has something to do with Kyurem.

There is also a new professor that researches pokemon "strength" and this leads me to believe it has something to do with the pokemon dream world abilities (would be nice if there were ways to get them without having to use the dream world), and he also gives me a Ghestis vibe looking at his face.

Oh and the earlier remark about the Unova pokedex now having 300 pokemon is true.

I've also heard some rumors regarding new starters but I won't take their word for it. I doubt GF would add ANY new pokemon while we are still in Gen V.

Everything I said, barring the starter thing, the thing about Cheren, and my thoughts on the new professor is true and confirmed...but thats pretty much all thats been confirmed.

I know about all those fake rumors flying around though, like the thing with the Cactus Owl.

Honestly, probably not for a while. Think about it, half the the legendaries will be in the movie this summer, what Pokemon could POSSIBLY be the focus of next year's? That's why I'm thinking they'll hold Genesect off until then... Besides, I'd love to see a movie based on him.

I am hoping for an interesting event, or at least have it be part of BW2 post-game plot. His pokedex entry links him to team plasma so I just want to see whats thats all about already.

Confirmed, Cheren for Gym leader, shadow triad are back, N seems to be involved in some way, downloadable old trainers like the kanto gym leaders in that pokemon world colosseum thing, musical gets replaced for some movie thing, among others.
