I was just in awe for around an hour. All I could think about was the fact that this is possibly one of the best snags they've ever gotten, and the potential they have to make profit, since they're just going off the European translation and not doing it from scratch, is so exciting. If this does extremely well, then ugh, the stuff they'll be able to go after will be really, really amazing.
The profit might even help fund the release of Trails 2, so I'm definitely excited to see that happen.

I was waiting, as I am from the Operation Rainfall group, and I just knew it would be announced, but by Xseed was such a surprise. To me, it means that it will get a little more attention than what Nintendo would have given it. Higher chance of a Limited Edition release. Yay!
