Sounds like it's just a matter of getting the details worked out. They don't want to hint that there is an LE and then end up being unable to work it out with Nintendo/Mistwalker/Uematsu. So it's probably an "if" for now, albeit a very likely "if."

I hope it's different, I always love how XSeed has their own style when it comes to their published games Limited Editions, but we will have to wait and see.

I am sucker for Limited Editions; I have been burned before, but I know XSEED would treat me right*, and that I would be happy, and buy it.


*I am still slightly unhappy about the Ys Chronicles Spine Art messup. <_< That was literally half the reason I bought the game, oddly enough.

Some copies had the art a little off center, so the picture running across the three Limited Editions didn't line up exactly.

I do seem to recall Tom saying something either here or on GameFAQs about it effecting only a portion of the production run, but I could be making that up completely, so don't quote me on that.

...I'll live. :3 Though if I get some cash, maybe I will buy another one from Amazon or the XSEED store if I can, and give the one I have to someone else. Or just forget about it again. ...But I'll know every time I look at my shelf.
