Robin Hood (my favorite Disney movie)
    the first X-Files movie
Monty Python and the Holy Grail

I don't own it but the Clannad film I saw was my favorite. It really is heartwarming at the end and cruel in some other places.
Hope will never die because in our times of despair, hope is the warmth that we all have that we can share. No matter how much life seems to hurt, stand up and never give up. Fight it and come back VICTORIOUS!!!

Whenever our souls feel in pain. We intertwine and make a miracle. The miracle that is our love.

What is your favorite movies and why?
Love Actually, Memoirs of a Geisha, Underworld, Stardust, Blood & Chocolate, Get Real, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, and let's just stop there ...
I like any of these movies either because: they make me feel good, they have an awesome storyline, or they have a character (or characters) I identify with.

    What movies do you own?
Um, that would be a super duper long list that I'd rather not put together.

Do you want to replace your DVD with Blu-ray?
Not particularly. I'm fine with DVD.

This is likely going to shock some folks, but my favorite flick would have to be Tron: Legacy. The original Tron movie captured my imagination as a child and I often daydreamed about what it would be like if I was pulled into the grid (I'm a geek, I know), so this movie was just a realization of my childhood fantasies, and how could anything else really compete with that.

This movie lived up to, and surpassed, my expectations of what a sequel to the original movie could be and I loved everything about it.

The main theme from this movie was stuck in my head for literally MONTHS:

    Edit: better version

Wow Echiboo, what a list :O

Here's mine as well as I can remember. There is also some movies that are technicaly not mine, but I'll put them anyway.

    Only recently got a blu-ray (PS3)

    GATTACA
    Beetlejuice
    Advent Children

    DVD :

    RBO the 4 DVD collection
    Daniel Lemire
    Star Académie 2003
    Harry potter 1 2 3 4 5
    X-men trilogy
    Trouver Némo
    Pirates des Caraďbes 1 2 3
    Peter Pan
    Tarzan
    Footloose
    Beetlejuice
    Advent Children
    Spider-man 1 2
    Jurassic Park 1 2 3
    Princess Mononoke
Lord of the ring extended edition

    Want absolutely to buy :

Moulin Rouge <= favorite love drama movie ever
    Back to the future 1 2 3

    About my favorite movies :

    1- Moulin Rouge
2-Jurassic Park because I never was a normal girl (love Dinosaur and cars since birth :3)
    3- Footloose
4- Lord of the Ring trilogy...so much work in there...
    5- Pirates des Caraďbes

Fastly : Why is Moulin Rouge my favorite Movie...hum...

    God everything!

    Story is touching
Set is so worked on. All the models that were necessary in the making of the movies
The actor's play. I felt they were completely in it
Ewan Mcgregor, not the usual actor; he does so much movie genre it's nice to see him always so different in every movie
Songs (of course), they were well-choose and fit perfectly with the movie.
The bad guy, I REALLY hate him, they did a great job on him and the actor did a great job too.
French is everywhere, of course! They are in Monmartre, but I find this cute that everything around them was in French :-)
The burlesque effects, that movie can be so serious, funny and sad at the same time.
The French translation is very good, but it cannot cut during the song. French word in an english song is bad...real bad...otherwise the french voice actor also did a great job.

the other one is a spoiler so I won't say it.

Favorites: Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Harry Potter, Underworld, Batman Begins & The Dark Knight, X-men First Class, Jurassic Park & JP: The Lost World, Back to the Future 1-3, TMNT 1-3, Ghostbusters 1 & 2, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, The Lion King, Children of Men, Inception and maybe more that I can't recall right now.

They were either Great movies/classics, good in my opinion, feel good movies, or for nostalgic reasons,
