Really need to learn Japanese if you want to play anything more than FC and SC. That's my opinion on it. The games are just too big, too frequent, and XSEED is too small to be able to keep up with Falcom, and that doesn't even take into consideration FC not selling well.

And it's not like you'd be playing anything post-TC any sooner if you don't make the effort, even if they were to continue the series. If they went that far, Zero would still likely be 4-5 years off at best. With dedication, that's enough time to get Japanese down well enough to get through the game (probably with some assistance from a kanji dictionary). I'm trying, even if I don't think I'll actually be able to get off the ground with it.

loli inquisitor : in fact the 3rd is a little longer than FC , there isn't as many of characters in it as in the previous games for some reason that I won't tell now but thr game itself is almost as long as SC

Hmm, 3rd felt really short when I played it. I think I beat the final boss on normal in 20 hours, while it took me around 28~30 hours to do FC on normal. Maybe the lack of sidequests in 3rd is the cause.

FC took me near 60 hours for completing all
SC took between 75-80 hours but I missed some sidquests and events
3rd took me 70 hours but indeed the lack of sidquest and special monsters to beat disapointed me a little but the doors to unlock were a good system

Yeah FC is 50 hours if you play it very fast, doing all subquests. If you want to read every NPC's comment after every single event and read all Carnelia Books & Liberl News, 70 hours are necessary...

not sure how long it had taken me so far [reached chapter 2 or 3], i did some errors along the way, so i started all over XD
at any rate, i pretty much bothered with the side quests and grinded lvls on my heroes when needed before certain missions.

I thought EXP was really scarce in the game, until I got to the final dungeon. :3

I leveled up a ton in the final dungeon too. Exp caps prevented grinding for most of the game though.
