Still... if it has a Digital manual in the game already, I might not mind it being DD. I would much rather buy it physically, and would like to see a physical release not just for me, but for the other people that like them as well, but recently, I have been feeling a little less hate on DD games... a little, at least.
Oh, but I am sad to hear that the game did not sell that well in Japan... :/ Well... maybe it will be one of those cases where the game sells better in NA? X3

Well, goodness, that's some bad news. :/ To be fair, Sumioni IS a completely unknown IP.... :/ I hope it does better upon release in America. Maybe a comparison or two in style to Okami would help push a few copies out the door. Regardless, it's a sad that stories like these are why it's so tricky to release anything else than a sequel or AAA-big-budget title. :< Especially in the US.

Well, speaking as a newer Ys fan (I have Atlus and XSeed to thank for that), the new Ys IV is my major reason for getting a Vita. To be honest, I completely think it will to come to America sooner or later, and that personally has me completely excited. Meanwhile, the fact that Zero Escape IS getting localized is what's driving me to get the system ASAP and over a 3DS. The potential that the Vita has (especially if it's successful), and the things that XSeed could probably do with it have me more excited over it than the 3DS.
Normally, I'd be all over a 3DS with a new Layton and PWxLayton on the horizon, but I honestly just don't trust Capcom anymore to please me as a consumer. But that's another story for another thread.
