Whaaaa?! I was under the (misguided, I guess) impression that it'll have a physical release. Some of the new info I've found about the game is kinda pushing me away from the game, and not having a physical release just might be the straw that'll break the donkey's back, as in it might be the con that'll make me not buy the game. I really want to support XSEED, but at the same time I can't quite bring myself to buy a game that I'm not even mildly interested in.

A physical release means XSEED will have to go for at least $30. Sumi Oni looks cool and all, but is it $30 cool? I don't know.
That's pretty much my take on it. Also somebody from XSEED said there are plans to make the demo available, but it won't be until after launch, so I'll probably hold off until then.
If only it was a game where everybody wasn't undecided about it. Pretty much everyone I know has the "meh, I don't know" opinion about Sumioni.
