I keep seeing people saying keep your psp, keep your psp, but honestly, how long do you expect a umd drive to last? I can still pop my original game boy cartridges into my gba and have them work just fine, but the cd drive on my ps1 burned out long long ago.
Currently Playing: Fire Emblem: Awakening, Digimon Adventure, Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed

Games Beaten in 2013: 9: Retro Game Challenge, Corpse Party 2U, Code of Princess, Dark Souls, Fire Emblem: Awakening, Atelier Meruru, Yakuza: Dead Souls, Liberation Maiden, Dr Who: The Eternity Clock

    > Implying I still use my UMD drive.

I only use .ISOs and .eboots now. Even for my physical games, as I got sick of lugging UMDs around long ago.

Yeah I stopped using UMD discs when I found out load times were 3x faster when playing from the stick. IT also felt good not having to lug all those discs around like u said.

I wish I didn't have to compromise those, for travelling.
If there were no (developer/publisher) to complain about, we would need to invent it.

When it comes to that, I'm sure there will be tons of used PSPs floating around for years to come that I can pick up. I'm sure a large portion will still be working as well.

It's not like the money you get from your PSP will be worth much anyways honestly. At least, that's the decision I've made.
