ad hoc is basically like connecting from system to system, ad hoc party on the ps3 emulates an ad hoc signal and connects with your psp or psvita and broadcasts it via wired connection so that the person you are playing with will receive it as an ad hoc signal as well.Originally Posted by 321jassman

Damn, thanks for the info though, my wifi will be fine though. I wonder if online servers will be based on psn region or if they will be dedicated servers or something.

Alright this thread finally got a proper place to be at! Yeah Ragnarok Odyssey only supported Local Play with friends in the same room until Expansion 1 showed up and introduced the infrastructure multiplayer. The question now is if its going to be run like Phantasy Star Portable 2 with online servers or if its going to be hosted person by person but that might cause lag problems. Either way I'm really excited I can have this game coming over to play it without the game saying "DEMO" in it!
