lol, meatshields. Anyways, the game sounds right up my alley from what you've written. I love faster gameplay and battles that are more action-y.

From what I played, the missions are pretty basic Monster Hunter type fare. Kill this, find that, do X Y amount of times. But the battle system is more like Bayonetta or Dynasty Warriors with a splash of God Eater Burst than Monster Hunter, which makes the game faster paced if that's your sort of thing. I also find the bosses to be far more involved and interesting than God Eater Bursts. However, I do miss the NPC meatshields, err, I mean, helpers of God Eater Burst. If you don't have friends, you're pretty much forced to be alone. Overall, if you like Gods Eater Burst or Monster Hunter, you'll like Ragnarok Odyssey, especially if you played Ragnarok Online in the past.

I have to say I never did like Monter Hunter much but God Eaters Burst is an entirely different story. I played that thing till' I completed all the missions on it. Yeah having some meat sh... umm.. npc helpers is always a fun thing though that medic girl from God Eaters needs to fix her aim. Oh and what do you mean by the bosses being more involved?

We do, and thats great. I love seeing the amount of support this game gets, and XSeed surely has to notice this is a hit for them and a huge money maker.

Yes... unless I'm mistaken.

No, I didn't. They've mentioned how the game doesn't have a US publisher yet when they post a piece of news, or how it's probably an XSEED game, but never this link directly. I doubt Siliconera would do it, they don't care about fan-campaigns.
