38?!! Geez, I guess I was really lucky with my 5 or you're just having horrible luck. It took me 71 to S-rank the Japanese Huchen, so I guess...keep trying?

I finally got S rank WS after 44 of them. Now I am working on bighead carp. I have 140 S ranks now so being my D-day I wonder if the game is being nice to me now...

Have yet to catch a white sturgeon. I know this is off topic, but where is the place to go ice fishing like one of the game pics shows???? I haven't seen anywhere to "scale a mountain" like the site says should be in the game. I decided to ask here because this topic was active.

Not sure about the Mountain thing! Not sure where you read it. There are the Malam Mountains at the Malam Jungle and I referred to Mountains when looking for the Wels Catfish at Dua Ribu Lake. That's the only mountain references I can find on this forum. Can you tell us more detail? Where you read it?

Ice fishing - there is the Gunan E river which can be accessed from the board at Tidur River. The one you probably are referring to is Smelt fishing in Remak Es Lake accessed from the board at Kerikil River. Hope this helps. Now back to White Sturgeon........

How do you stop the white sturgeon from disappearing? I go to the lake see them stop put the tackle in, then they do there little dance and disappear. Sometimes I get lucky and one bites. How do you stop them from disappearing and bite on the hook?

It's completely random unfortunately. Sometimes, I'm able to hook several in a row without one disappearing while other times, I might go several in-game days without one taking the bait. Using Rainbow bait might also help.

Thanks, I've been using Rainbow. Also in the game that's online, I think the Japanese have a different game. There always in the top ten! ( LOL )

I got the white sturgeon finally! Here's how I did it....Get up at 5am, rent a kayak, NOT a boat!!! It will take you a bit to get over there but it's worth it....I went slowly through the middle. When I turned around to come back, he was right there.
I used the Titan, the Infinity and Rainbow Large. Keep him in the orange on the stress meter always!! It will take a while to land him, just don't rush him. Good luck!

Nah, there just aren't many Americans playing this game lol. I once caught a Silver Salmon that tied the highest size for the fish for that particular contest. Since I caught the fish first, my avatar was listed first on the leaderboard. Oh, and I was the only American on the leaderboard, all the rest were Japanese players. By the way, the size for a fish is random so you may get very lucky like me if you keep trying.
