Playstation Vita Discussion Topic!

From the looks of it, it's about 50/50 on who's getting a Vita day 1, but it also looks like it's unanimous that everyone will get one eventually. I knew the gamers here were cool people. Carry on everyone.

Maybe once some interesting games get announced for it, but at the moment I'm not seeing anything I'd call a system seller for me. I'll be getting the PS3 version of Blazblue, and I've already got a ton of different versions of Katamari Damacy. Looks like I'll already be busy with PS3 and 3DS games this year anyways. Maybe by 2013 there will be some better stuff announced for it.

^ I guess we just have different tastes in gaming, because Gravity Rush, Ys 4, and possibly Dragon's Crown are all worthy of getting the system for me, and the array of other diverse titles, such as Escape Plan, Uncharted, and Persona 4 just solidify that.

Anyways, are there any titles people here wish to see on the Vita? Ports, remakes, sequels, new games with certain elements (specify)?

If I have the money for it I'll probably buy one on or around launch. I plan on buying a 3DS with Christmas money, though, so I probably won't get it at launch. But if I don't, I still definitely want one eventually. I'll probably end up getting it by the end of 2012 at the latest.

Honestly the only one of those that interest me is Gravity Rush. Ys 4 looks like it could have been done on psp, and I'm not a fan of Vanillaware stuff. I just finished Uncharted 3, so I don't really feel the need for another for quite some time, and I don't like the Persona games, cause Persona 1 bored me, and I got tired of P3P because it was the same dungeon over and over again.

Maybe if I start seeing some more interesting stuff like the 3DS has coming for it like Beyond the Labyrinth, Bravely Default, Rhythm Thief R, Fire Emblem, New Love Plus, Senran Kagura, Hatsune Miku Project Mirai, Guild 01, and that weird sealed in a room with a girl game.

I'm sure that sort of thing will happen eventually, but so far there doesn't seem to be much announced that tickles my fancy.

Im basically just here waiting if the new Little King's Story is coming out to us. Other than that Im not really that interested though I do want Disgaea but Im kinda on a budget after some Christmas shopping with my parents and friend so I'm gonna be doing some more odd jobs later in January. I think I'll be able to buy it but I'm not thinking of buying it at launch.

Oh, and seeing Raguna just reminded me that 3DS is getting Rune Factory 4...so there's that too. lol

So I just found out about Gravity Rush via this topic and looked up a trailer on Youtube. That is now a game I will definitely buy whenever I end up getting a Vita.

@ Gintoki Yup, definitely different tastes. The only one that interests me from those is Bravely Default (and only because of the art; don't actually know how it plays like). I wouldn't say no to the other games coming over here, but I'm not particularly interested in any of those (though maybe that'll change when more is revealed).

RF4 is gonna be awesome though. That and Layton vs Wright are my most anticipated 3DS titles, though they might not even make it out next year.

*cough* Anyways, Vita! I'll get one someday, I'm sure of it. Just not at launch this time. Especially after paying $250 for the 3DS and seeing what happened just a few months afterwards. Lol...not that I mind getting 10 free gba games I never played before.
