UK game prices in my experience are cheaper than their US counterparts. Exchange bumps it up to be about even.
My imported copy of Xenoblade actually cost me less total than my US copy.

Maybe you just pick up the cheap stuff? When I looked at stuff that was only slightly less than the price here, it ended up being twice the price, especially with adding shipping...
I preordered Xenoblade, both the PAL and NTCS copy. Where are you ordering from? Bigger stores like GAME probably aren't going to have markdowns as big as smaller ones. I used shopto I think, and shipping was free.
Pretty sure I just used my debit card, don't remember there being a fee. I think it worked out to be like $48 total, I'd have to go back and check.
I've not noticed either of those on amazon uk yet, but i havent really been looking. not cancelling my us preorder of muramasa tho. want my extra stash.
If they bring the Vita version DD-only to America, I'll get it DD-only. I'll only import if there's no way of getting it in my continent.
It wasn't the foreign charge, but the exchange rate itself that added on a lot more and including shipping, it just got way too much.
