OMG addiction!

Got this game Wednesday and i am totally addicted now. Thank you XSEED for bringing this game. It is awesome.
The rod periphial is pretty cool as well. Altho i think I might stop using it, it started hurting my hands after a while, that's my own fault tho. Need to loosen the death grip.

One question though. Once you catch a fish for the first time does it always automatically show up in your aquarium? I went trolling for the first time and the big fish i caught there I cant' find.

EDIT: Nvm on the question. Turns out they showed up in the temperate zone...and i didnt have the right tank yet. The book that catalouges all the fish says they are tropical tho.

Weird. Not sure why that should have happened. Well, at least the sucker showed up, right? One time I caught an awesome fish and I couldn't find it anywhere for ages...then realized that I hadn't bothered to open up the area it would be in... (I FAIL)

Anyway, really glad you're having fun with it! It just hits such a sweet spot. One of my favorite titles to QA for sure. Be sure to tell us more about what you think/catch. Maybe I should set challenges for you.

Well, I think the coolest thing I've caught so far was a 22 ft giant squid Trolling is my favorite way to fish now lol
Also. Did anyone else notice how the sun both rises and sets in the north in this game?

I am no fishing expert, so... I am getting a really odd mental image when I am trying to imagine "trolling for fish", or "fishing by trolling". X3 If I get time, I can look up it, online or in the manual (managed to get it, yay! X3 ), but if someone wants to inform me, that would be nice and most appreciated. :3

Glad to hear people are having fun with it. Unfortunately, my spare change this month went to Corpse Party, but I plan on picking this up around Christmas time myself. ^^ Aside from the hand-hurting thing, does the rod work well? Is it easier to play with/without it, or is there no real difference? O:

Trolling is when you have multiple fishing rods trailing behind you on a boat that's driving around in the ocean. Then when one hooks a fish it's EPIC FISH BATTLE time!!!
It's only for larger fish I guess.
As for the rod thing, yeah, it works quite well and it seems really well made (read: I haven't managed to break it yet). The only real complaint I have about it is I think Lure fishing might be easier without it. Sometimes when I'm trying to move the wiimote left and right to move the lure in the water it thinks that I'm reeling instead since with the rod the wiimote and nunchuck attatchment are attatched. But again, in real fishing they would be attatched like that, so you just have to be really careful to hold the reel part still. I kinda feel like I'd be cheating now if I took them out to do it so that I could use each hand indepentlly to make it easier lol.

I'm so damn addicted to this right now it's ridiculous... Seriously, thank you very much XSEED for bringing this one over, it's an absolute joy to play. I'll be snagging another few bundles soon to give out as Christmas presents and hopefully spread the word a little. Now back to fishing I goooooooo....!
