I've been thinking why all these unknown websites got Corpse Party codes from XSEED, but then I noticed that as Corpse Party is a niche title and the download at the PSN hardly costs themselves much, if one website is able to secure two purchases, they're already winning, even though I thought that those 10 codes XSEED gave away to Siliconera a bit too much.
Ehh, it's good publicity. And a game like this needs all the publicity it can get! (:

I actually really loved the voice acting. The fact that pretty much everything had voice acting was kind of amazing to me and something I wasn't expecting. I will admit there were a few lines that did sound a little strange to me, but then others really sucked me into the experience. One part in particular I remember is the pure raw emotion in Naomi's voice after Seiko dies This also applies to when Naomi and Satoshi discover the recording on Morishige's phone Just the emotion and the energy really got to me. I can only describe it as sharing the character's pain simply from hearing their suffering as dramatic and disturbing as that sounds ^^;;; The sounds and descriptions are just wonderful in general! Even scenes that showed nothing but black on the screen would disturb me simply from the noises. I didn't need to see Yoshiki chomping away on Ayumi's remains. My imagination painted quite a colorful picture just from the sounds and left me in shock.
Sorry for the rant, but I read the earlier posts about voice acting and the audio in the game is just one of my favorite aspects of Corpse Party~! I really want it to do well so we can get Book of Shadows as well!

I'm glad this game has been getting good reviews. It doesn't deserve a perfect score because of the same reasons we've discussed before, but a B+/9.0 is the score I'd give to the game.

Really good to see this game is performing well across the board. I think it was well deserving of my A-Grade.... as while there were areas to improve upon (As with all games), it remained true to the original game (Which I doubt many of us will be seeing ever) and had the storyline that was immersive and kept me hooked (While playing at 3AM in the morning).
Lack of text skipping? Potentially Slight Lag? No problem at all for me!......
More of an issue with the game piquing my curiosity and delivering me to many a bad end =P.
