I had people trying to change me before, and that only made me feel insecure about my appearance. Not the best thing to do to your loved one.

That's not really a fair request. Talking about me specifically, if i was presenting my future wife to my parents, they'ld meet her exactly the way she is, if they don't like her because she's not of the same race i'am or because of "how she looks", then tough luck...regardless of whether there is an inheritance in play.
It's just not fair, ESPECIALLY asking her to get cosmetic surgery done...seriously? That's going too far.

I'll probably do if it's some minor change like cut your hair or something.
... btw... are you that perrandy that used to post at PSU?
believe it or not the woman at the talk show was willing to do it.it was her family that was against it,she seemed to be in love with the guy.but i think that he was paying more att to tradition rather than his feelings for her.keep also in mind that the dude said that he was 45 yr old ...and the women looked much younger than him
Depends what she would want, I guess? (also helps if I can request changes as well)
If she wants me to shave my head, then I'm sorry, that's not gonna happen.
Though, if it's something like "do this or we're through", then there's no excusing that. But wanting to get me to change my hair a bit, or whatever is totally cool if I don't think it'd look stupid.

No way I'd change my appearance. Doesn't matter who asks~
