Path) Go save Rachael
You speed onto the northbound ramp and a moment later you're racing toward the city.
You've got the inbound lanes to yourself.
All the traffic is on the other side, as people are trying to get out of the city. You see zombies clinging to some of the fleeing cars.
One of them, riding the luggage rack of a minivan, punches through the driver's side window and decapitates the guy at the wheel.
You make your way into the decomposing city and pull into Rachael's parking lot.
Her building is a horror of a sight.
Smoke curls from broken windows.
Ravaged bodies drape from others.
Blood is splattered on all the rest.
This could be difficult.
The front entry is just ahead, though you're more or less certain the building is full of zombies.
An alternative is an iron gutter-drain that climbs the outside wall, right up past Rachael's balcony on the sixth floor.
Do you:
A) Enter throught the ground floor
B) Climb the pipe
Path) Leave her
You head south on I-35, away from the city as night falls.
Traffic is horribly in the southbound lanes, as people flee the city.
After a while the freeway jams up entirely, and you take an exit onto country backroads.
You drive for a few hours.
In the dark countryside, you see the lights of distant towns wink out, one by one, as power grids fail.
Now you're almost out of gas.
There's one small town far ahead with its lights still on.
It's probably another fifteen miles.
Hard to say if the car can get you that far.
Just then you pass a farm house with its windows lit.
The town might be a better safe haven... but there's no guarantee you'll reach it.
Do you:
A) Stop at the farm house?
B) Try to reach the town?
Path) Chase Tyler
You run after Tyler, chasing him down a corridor toward a wide-open room behind the garage.
Just after he bursts through the door ahead of you, you hear a splash.
You follow through the doorway to discover an indoor pool.
Tyler is treading water out in the middle, screaming for you to stay away.
The chlorine smells hideous to your zombie senses, but you don't really care.
The sight of your helpless victim pulls you forward like a magnet, as you consider how to proceed.
Do you:
A) Jump inot the pool after him?
B) Seek some other way to get him out of the pool?
Path) Chase Tanner
Shoving furniture aside, you bolt across the room, following Tanner.
You pass through a living room and pursue him down a short hall into his bedroom.
You hear a window break even as you enter, and see that he's already gone.
The room is covered with skateboard-related stuff.
Through the broken window you see Tanner escaping on a skateboard of course.
He's left a few other boards behind in the room.
Do you:
A) Chase after him on a skateboard?
B) Chase after him on foot?
Path) Chase Tiffany
You lumber through the doorway that Tiffany left through, and pursue her across a large dining room toward the kitchen.
You notice a bit too late, a sauce pan on the stove, full of boiling water.
Tiffany grabs it and hurls its contents into your face, melting your eyes out of your head in a second.
"Ahhhh!!!" You fall to the floor, writhing in agony.
Then you hear the bass schwing of what is undoubtedly a meat cleaver being pulled from a rack.
A second later, Tiffany beheads you like a BACONBACONBACONBACONing turkey, and as your head rolls aside, the last thing you feel is your cheek passing over the stone floor tiles.
... you got killed by a 12 year old.
